Wisconsin Energy Named One of the Nation's Best Corporate Citizens for the Second Year in a Row

MILWAUKEE, March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wisconsin Energy Corporation (NYSE: WEC) moved up to 12th place on the list of the Top 100 corporate citizens in the United States in the annual ranking prepared by Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) magazine. In 2008, Wisconsin Energy was 15th on the list.

CRO evaluates approximately 1,100 publicly held companies in the areas of employee relations, governance, finance, philanthropy, human rights, environmental efforts and lobbying.
