China Energy Recovery Announces Progress on Its Efforts to Protect Its Intellectual Properties for Energy Efficiency

SHANGHAI, March 17 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- China Energy Recovery, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CGYV) (ISIN: US16943V2060; "CER"), a leader in the waste heat energy recovery sector of the industrial energy efficiency industry, today announced that a patent application the company filed with the Intellectual Property Office of China in late 2007 has successfully passed the publication period and entered into the examination period in March 2009. It is expected that the patent application will receive final approval in about two years. In the past, China Energy Recovery has filed 7 patent applications in China and successfully obtained 5 certificates and approvals. Another one is currently in the publication period.

What is Waste Heat Energy Recovery?

Industrial facilities release significant amounts of excess heat into the atmosphere in the form of hot exhaust gases or high-pressure steam.
