Owens Corning Names Daniel Zhang Head of Asia-Pacific Building Materials Group

Appointment Strengthens Company's Presence in Asian Region
Zhang, 46, brings nearly two decades of management experience to his new role. As head of the Asia-Pacific Building Materials group, he will drive Owens Corning's expansion in the region. He will execute strategies that grow the company's market presence in the building materials industry to better serve its Asian customers. Zhang will also be responsible for ensuring that Owens Corning delivers innovation to its customers to help them prosper in the marketplace.

Before joining Owens Corning, Zhang held various executive management positions at global manufacturing companies. He was most recently president of the
Zhang received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and master's of business administration in system engineering. He is fluent in both English and Chinese.
