EAM Enterprise Edition will provide the department a holistic view of its assets, enabling it to standardize work order processes, improve evaluation of park conditions, track maintenance and performance, and coordinate the installation and development of new capital projects. Additionally, the solution integrates with the department's GIS and handheld devices, simplifying the work order process for asset maintenance crews and dispatchers.
The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation will use Infor Public Sector's software to manage more than 14 percent of the city's total land area, including 14 miles of beaches, approximately 800 athletic fields, 1,000 playgrounds, 550 tennis courts, 65 swimming pools, 1,200 monuments, and 30 recreation centers.
