WABCO and Team Allgauer Continue Successful Partnership in the European Truck Racing Championship

BRUSSELS, March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WABCO Holdings Inc. (NYSE: WBC) [http://www.wabco-auto.com], a global technology leader and tier one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, and Truck Race Team Allgauer today announced continuation of their successful long-term partnership in the European Truck Racing Championship, the industry's leading and most competitive truck racing contest worldwide. WABCO has been supplying Team Allgauer with state-of-the-art braking technology since 2001.

During the 2009 season, WABCO will provide former European Truck Champion Egon Allgauer's team with its new generation of single piston NG 22 MAX Air Disc Brake [http://www.presseportal.de/go2/NG_22_MAX_Air_Disc_Brake], featuring the industry's most effective weight-to-performance ratio for heavy duty trucks. In addition, WABCO equips the team's trucks with its full conventional braking system, including Tristop(R) Cylinders [ http://www.presseportal.de/go2/Tristop_Cylinder], one of the most reliable piston-type spring brake cylinders on the market.
