Based in Nashville, Tennessee, EASI numbers among its clients General Electric, Campbell's, Conagra Foods, Sabic (Saudi Basic Industries Corp.) BP, and thousands of other medium-sized to large businesses for which EASI has supplied its energy reduction equipment.

Cox will call on companies to demonstrate how EASI technologies reduce electric bills, save energy and reduce greenhouse gases, said Joe Merlo, EASI chief executive officer.

"Stephanie has demonstrated an exceptional ability to produce results in every position she has held in her young career," he said. "As a senior business development executive she is responsible for the strategic and operational planning and execution to introduce EASI's energy-saving technologies to new clients in the U.S. and around the world."

Merlo said that Cox is formulating a direct sales program that leverages past successes and creates long-term relationships with corporations with multiple locations. She will manage partnerships, participate in joint sales calls, track prospects and work with EASI affiliates to generate sales across the country.

Cox is a 1997 graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill., graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy.

She began her career in 1996 with an Illinois-based information technologies firm, and was quickly given responsibility for developing sales leads in England, Ireland, Australia and Singapore. She then worked for eight years for an energy reduction company, first in Illinois, then in California.

Prior to joining EASI, Cox served as vice president of business development and engineering for the Barclay Pullman Corporation, a national provider of construction services.
