Astec Industries, Inc. to Present at BB&T Capital Markets Manufacturing and Materials Conference

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., March 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Astec Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTE) announces today that it will participate in the BB&T Capital Markets Manufacturing and Materials Conference in New York City, New York on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Dr. J. Don Brock, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Stephen C. Anderson, Corporate Secretary and Director of Investor Relations will attend the meeting.

Astec Industries, Inc. is a manufacturer of specialized equipment for building and restoring the world's infrastructure. Astec's manufacturing operations are divided into four primary business segments: asphalt production equipment, mobile asphalt paving equipment, aggregate processing and mining equipment, and underground boring, directional drilling and trenching equipment.
