World's Biggest Space Party Comes to Hampton Roads

HAMPTON, Va., March 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The world's biggest space party is coming to Hampton Roads. Partygoers will join 198 cities in 51 countries for Yuri's Night, a celebration of space exploration, Saturday, April 4, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Virginia Air & Space Center in downtown Hampton.

Yuri's Night Hampton Roads' high-tech theme will focus on space exploration and what is new and exciting at NASA. The event will feature a fusion of entertainment including a laser light show, Hampton Roads' favorite DJ, Jey One, a "Mars"tini lounge, star gazing, dance demonstrations, high-tech NASA exhibits, live art displays, robots and more.

The following schedule of events is planned for Yuri's Night Hampton Roads:

6:30 p.m. - Doors Open

7:00 - 8:00 p.m. - DJ Jey One/Dancing

8:00 p.m. - Reggae with The Prisoners on Observation Deck

8:00 - 8:45 p.m. - Dance Demos

  • Belly Dancing by Neferteri
  • Dancing and Martial Arts by Capoeira Resistencia
  • Folk Dance and Belly Dance Fusion by Dancing Turtle Folk Arts of Fields Dance Studio

8:45 - 9:45 p.m. - DJ Jey One/Dancing

9:45 - 10:30 p.m. - Dance Demos

  • Belly Dancing by Neferteri
  • Dancing and Martial Arts by Capoeira Resistencia
  • Folk Dance and Belly Dance Fusion by Dancing Turtle Folk Arts of Fields Dance Studio

10:30 - 11:00 p.m. - DJ Jey One/Dancing
