Delta TechOps Expands Partnerships with World Airways and North American Airlines

Five-year contract includes Complete Fleet(TM) services for both airlines

ATLANTA, April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Delta Air Lines’ (NYSE: DAL) maintenance division, Delta TechOps, today announced it has finalized new five-year contracts with Global Aviation Holdings subsidiaries World Airways and North American Airlines. These agreements mark the third contract extension between Delta TechOps and the airlines, and will result in more than 13 years of partnership.

The new contracts, worth more than $200 million, include several expansions to the previous agreements. TechOps will perform component repair, inventory exchange programs, and drop-in A & C-check support for World and North American. TechOps will also provide time and material engine maintenance for World’s PW4000 and CF6-80C2 engines and be the exclusive provider of 331-200 APU repairs for North American.
