Continental Airlines Voted 'Best Airline: North America' in 2009 Skytrax World Airline Awards

Airline wins award for second consecutive year

HOUSTON, April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today announced that for the second year in a row it has been named "Best Airline: North America" in the Skytrax 2009 World Airline Awards.

The awards are based on an independent survey of more than 15 million passengers of 95 different nationalities, conducted over a 10-month period.

Jim Summerford, Continental's Vice President Europe, Middle East & India, accepted the award on behalf of the airline at a ceremony in Hamburg, Germany.
