Jacobs Receives Contract for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission San Joaquin Region Projects

The projects are generally located in the California Central Valley on the east side of the Altamont Pass. Projects include construction of 11 miles of new 92-inch diameter pipelines; rehabilitation of existing pipelines; new crossover valve structures; a throttling station to improve emergency pipeline shutdown capability and operational flexibility; Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system upgrades; a new 315-million-gallon-per-day ultraviolet and chemical feed facility; as well as coordination with other concurrent water quality improvement projects.
