Ormat Technologies, Inc. to Host Conference Call Announcing First Quarter 2009 Earnings Results

Call Will be Webcast Simultaneously

RENO, Nevada, April 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ormat Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ORA) plans to announce its first quarter 2009 earnings results in a press release that will be issued early morning on Monday, May 11, 2009. The Company has scheduled a conference call to discuss the results, on the same day at 9 a.m. EDT.

The conference call will be broadcast live as a listen-only webcast. To listen to the call, please go to www.ormat.com approximately twenty minutes before the conference call is scheduled to begin.
