HD Radio technology is the most significant advance in radio broadcasting since the advent of FM. Available to 84 percent of Americans, nearly 2,000 HD Radio stations are already on the air with 1,000 new FM multicast channels (HD2/HD3) that are exclusive to HD Radio listeners – all subscription free. These channels feature digitally delivered new music and fresh formats, some of which showcase All Live and Acoustic, Southern Rock or Pride niche content.
