April 8, 2009

FRANKLIN, Tenn., April 8 /PRNewswire/ — Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today announced the launch of www.talk370Z.com, an online conversation hub that serves as a social media destination for enthusiasts and consumers seeking news, videos, images, reviews and other information on the all-new Nissan 370Z sports car – including two new Z(R) models that debuted yesterday in conjunction with the New York International Auto Show, the NISMO 370Z and 370Z Roadster. The site pulls content and conversation about the latest incarnation of Nissan’s iconic Z(R) from a variety of news and media-sharing sites and blogs.

“Since the debut of the all-new 370Z at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, Z(R) loyalists and sports car fans alike have raved about the car online in forums, blogs, tweets and in the press,” said Scott Vazin, director, Nissan Division, NNA. “The Z(R) Conversation Hub was designed to give those enthusiasts a ‘one-stop shop’ where they can access the latest news and information about the Z(R) with just one click.”

The new www.talk370Z.com site is NNA’s first foray into online conversation hubs, joining hundreds of Z(R) Club and individual Z(R) owner sites dedicated to the car. Sales of the new Z(R) began in late December and are off to a strong start. The launch of www.talk370Z.com enables existing owners and those in the market for a sports car the opportunity to see what all of the excitement is about. Information about the 370Z is also available at NissanUSA.com.

The 2009 Nissan 370Z, the first full redesign of the Z(R) since its reintroduction as a 2003 model, solidifies the strengths of its predecessor with an unmatched balance of performance, style and value.

Nearly every piece and component of the 370Z has been rethought or redesigned (compared to the previous 350Z) – a shorter wheelbase, greater use of lightweight body materials, larger engine with 26 more horsepower, a new 7-speed automatic transmission, an available world’s first synchronized downshift rev matching 6-speed manual transmission, a new high quality interior design and new available technology features.

The racing-inspired 2009 NISMO 370Z features dramatic aerodynamic styling, a 350-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, specially tuned suspension and unique interior treatments. It is scheduled to go on sale at Nissan retailers nationwide beginning in June.

The all-new 370Z Roadster goes on sale in late summer as a 2010 model. It offers a new power-folding convertible top with automatic roof latch, along with available heating and cooling ventilated net seats, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, satellite radio and an advanced Nissan Navigation System with 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive.
