Company Services to Help Deliver Intelligence Data to Army Field Commanders
The DCGS-A integrates intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance data within a single system to streamline the Army's ability to process and disseminate this data to commanders in the field. Using this intelligence information, field commanders gain a better situational understanding of their environment. This includes visualizing and analyzing imminent threats, predicting threat intentions, and developing countermeasures.
CACI's DCGS-A team, which includes incumbent subcontractors, will develop and integrate software, and provide lifecycle management, to continuously enhance DCGS-A for warfighter support. CACI will perform budget and program financial analysis to assure costs are contained and effectively managed. The team will train users for more effective system use, and provide logistical support for optimal system deployment. The award increases both the size and scope of CACI's business in C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance).
