Frontier Leads Major Carriers in Fewest Canceled Flights for February 2009

Department of Transportation statistics also show Frontier with strong on-time and baggage handling performance in
February's 99.8 percent flight completion rate marks the 21st time in the last 26 months that Frontier has led the majors in fewest flight cancellations.
For on-time performance, Frontier ranked second among major carriers and fourth overall with flights arriving on time 83.3 percent of the time.
Frontier ranked third among the major carriers in baggage performance, first among major carriers with interline agreements (agreements to handle bags for other airlines) and fourth overall. February marked the seventh consecutive month in which Frontier has ranked among the top five major carriers in fewest delayed and mishandled bags.
Once again, Frontier reported no flights on the DOT's list of chronically delayed or canceled flights. (These are flights delayed or canceled over 70 percent of the time.)
