New Jersey American Water Plans Fun Day of Work for Kids

Take Your Child to Work Day at New Jersey American Water is an exciting educational experience for children of employees
Dozens of employees at New Jersey American Water's 12 treatment plants and operations centers will host their children, ranging from ages 8 to 18 during Take Your Child to Work Day. The day is part of a national effort to expose young people to careers and to emphasize the value of education.
At New Jersey American Water's Delran Water Treatment Plant, children will tour the facility and learn how water is drawn from the Delaware River, cleansed and delivered to their taps at home. Other scheduled activities will include a water ball toss, a game of "Water Jeopardy," a model water tank building contest, a scavenger hunt, and ice cream from Mr. Softee.
