LONDON, April 22 /PRNewswire/ — Departing Rome in summer 2009, Celebrity
Equinox is the latest addition to the Solstice Class of ships from Celebrity
Cruises (http://www.celebritycruises.co.uk). Whether you’re new to cruising
or an experienced cruiser, Celebrity Equinox is packed with the most
innovative features, including an industry first on the top deck of the ship:
real, growing grass.

With it’s decidedly Country Club ambience, the half-acre Lawn Club lets
guests relax and enjoy a variety of casual outdoor activities on its
magnificent, freshly manicured grass. There’s absolutely nothing like it. At
2.4 times the size of Centre Court at Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club, guests are
invited to enjoy croquet, practice their golf putting, or have a picnic with
a basket of wine and cheese, while sailing the oceans of the world.

“We want our guests to experience the unexpected, like the thrill of
sinking a putt on a freshly manicured lawn in the middle of the ocean,” said

Dan Hanrahan, President and CEO of Celebrity Cruises. “The experiences on and
around the lawn exemplify what we aim to achieve: to recognize, celebrate and
indulge our guests in style.”

The area also features the Hot Glass Show, another industry first
developed by Celebrity Cruises and the Corning Museum of Glass. The dazzling
and engaging Hot Glass Show allows guests to watch as professional
glassblowers create gorgeous pieces of art in an interactive setting in a
unique exhibition.

Other new features include ten dining venues offering trendsetting
cuisine and design, spectacular new shows in partnership with Poet
Theatricals, spacious staterooms and bathrooms, and several categories of
accommodations, including Celebrity’s new spa-inspired AquaClass staterooms.

Celebrity Cruises offers a premium cruise line that delivers a
contemporary cruise experience amongst innovative design and decor,
impeccable service and unparalleled spa and dining options. Voted by The
Guardian, The Observer and guardian.co.uk Travel Awards 2008′ Best Cruise
Line, and voted by readers of UK Conde Nast Traveller as The Best Large
Cruise Line 2008. Celebrity Solstice will be joined by Celebrity Equinox in
July 2009, Celebrity Eclipse in 2010 and a fourth Solstice-class ship in 2011.

Be one of the first to experience the Solstice Class onboard one of our
three ships, Celebrity Eclipse sailing from Southampton in 2010, and with up
to GBP400 off, there has never been a better time to sail with Celebrity
Cruises.
