Leading press release distribution hub launches GreenRelease(TM) program designed to help offset global warming
One of the largest programs of its kind in the press release industry, eReleases has partnered with Trees for the Future (http://www.treesftf.org), a non-profit organization that improves livelihoods in developing countries through beneficial tree planting and sustainable land management projects.
"With the GreenRelease program, eReleases can continue its effort of being the leader in paperless public relations while planting trees for future generations," said
A single tree can effectively remove about 50 pounds of carbon dioxide per year, replacing it with oxygen. In addition, trees provide shade, block winds, support birds and wildlife, prevent soil erosion, and play a role in cleaning groundwater.
eReleases(R) launched as an online alternative to mailing or faxing press releases to the media. The company leverages its email database of subscribing journalists as well as its relationship with a Tier-1 press release newswire to serve small and medium-sized businesses.
