Energtek Subsidiary Moregastech India Advances Company's First Natural Gas Bulk Transportation Project

Posted on: Monday, 27 April 2009, 07:59 CDT

DELHI, India, April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Energtek Inc., a world leader in the development of Adsorbed Natural Gas (ANG) technology, today announced that its subsidiary Moregastech India Private Limited is advancing the provision of natural gas bulk transportation services to industrial consumers in Bhiwadi industrial area in the Indian state of Haryana, using Energtek's proprietary Low-pressure Mobile Pipeline (LMP) bulk transportation technology,.

Marketing activities in the said industrial area have started following advances in the approval process for LMP technology by the Indian authorities. The marketing team has reported very positive reactions by customers waiting to benefit from the supply of natural gas.

Satisfying the supply requests presented to the company by industrial consumers in the Bhiwadi industrial area will require a fleet of several semitrailers to deliver the appropriate natural gas quantities. Energtek has developed custom semitrailers to enable the cost-efficient delivery of natural gas to consumers that are not connected to any pipeline infrastructure.

Currently, there is no practical alternative to provide natural gas to these industrial consumers. Haryana currently has supply of indigenous natural gas, but does not have appropriate infrastructure to deliver the energy needs of industrial consumers. Natural gas is a cost-effective alternative to oil that also provides a significant ecological improvement through the reduction of hazardous emissions. Natural Gas can be delivered for a fraction of the price of oil.

"We are not surprised by the interest of the industrial customers to use natural gas to solve their energy needs," said Energtek CEO Lev Zaidenberg, "we are surprised rather by the insistence of these companies to start delivery as soon as possible."

"We will be able to transport the required energy requests following the final approval of our technology by the Indian authorities, Zaidenberg added. "There is no doubt that the provision of a cheaper and cleaner fuel is economically beneficial to these customers. With a constantly growing number of industrial consumers, and over 80 million two- and three-wheel vehicles, India is in great need of the alternative energy solution offered by Energtek's proprietary low-pressure storage technologies."
