General Dynamics Awarded U.S. Army Contract for Multi-National Corps-Iraq Logistics Support

FAIRFAX, Va., April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was awarded a $3 million contract to support the U.S. Army Central Command and the Multi-National Corps-Iraq. The contract has one base year and a one-year extension option.

General Dynamics will provide logistics support to the Multi-National Corps-Iraq (MNC-I) at Camp Victory, Iraq. General Dynamics will assist MNC-I and its strategic partners in implementing a structured operational approach to analyze, forecast and manage equipment and commodities in the U.S. Central Command's regional area of responsibility, which stretches from the Middle East to Central Asia. The program will improve accountability for all on-site and in-transit Theater provided equipment, ammunition and petroleum.
