Magna International Inc. - Annual meeting of shareholders and notice of conference call for first quarter 2009 results

AURORA, ON, April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Magna International Inc. (TSX: MG.A; NYSE: MGA) is holding its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Hilton Suites Toronto/Markham Conference Centre, 8500 Warden Avenue, Markham, Ontario, Canada commencing at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The meeting will be webcast live and can be accessed at www.magna.com. Magna will also announce its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2009, on the morning of the meeting.

Magna will hold its quarterly conference call on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. EDT. The number to use for this call is 1-800-892-9785. Overseas callers should use 1-212-231-2910.
