EClips Energy Technologies Conducts Ongoing Tests of 'PATI' Pure Air System on Commercial Buses

Posted on: Monday, 4 May 2009, 07:00 CDT

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EClips Energy Technologies, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ECET) today reported that it has successfully completed a first series of tests of its Pure Air System (PATI) in passenger coaches owned by a local transport company. The Company will be conducting additional tests in coming weeks through an arrangement with a national transport company.

The test results showed that after several hours of treatment, all biological and chemical irritant fumes and contaminants had been eliminated from the coach, leaving it smelling 'like new' as the fabrics and floors had been fully cleansed.

"There are a variety cleaning techniques currently being utilized in the commercial bus industry, but none of them adequately address the removal of disease-causing bacteria and potentially harmful organic compounds. Our most recent results show that our PATI system has far more powerful capabilities than we had originally tested them for. It is becoming clear that our innovative Pure Air Technology offers an exciting solution that should substantially improve upon the existing market options," commented CEO of EClips Energy Technologies, Ben Croxton.

Pure Air Control Services (PACS), an independent testing company accredited by the EPA, NIOSH and OSHA, performed these tests by performing 'before' and 'after-treatment' air assessments. PACS placed a 'normal' range of testing equipment in the coach prior to the PATI system being placed inside the sealed coach and activated for the requisite period and then performed air quality measurements after the PATI system had been deployed.

The results showed that measurable contaminants had been reduced by the PATI treatment to normal atmospheric levels. Notable reductions of Ethyl Alcohol and Toluene were in the air. Several other possible irritant and unwelcome agents were also not detectable in the coach.

Sufficient data was provided to the Company in this air assessment to deem the test a success and has led to the design of a design a more sensitive test of air quality in a passenger coach, targeting known obnoxious fumes. This test should lead to a better understanding of passenger coach contaminants and their susceptibility to cleaning and the elimination of odors and will be carried out in coming weeks.

EClips Energy Technologies wishes to acknowledge the assistance it received from the Martz Group, which made passenger coaches available for these air quality tests. The Company also wishes to thank PACS, which devised and undertook the testing regimes in the coaches and provided reports on the results.
