Utilizing its Tier IV engineering and design that is ultra efficient, with Leeds credits being included in the new data center expansion, the addition will include 21,000 square feet of incremental raised floor space, as well as interior space for generator bays, infrastructure equipment, and a new atrium. "Not only are ultra efficient chillers being used to minimize energy costs," Mr. Scherer continues, "but the recaptured heat from the data center will actually warm all of the generator bays, warehouse areas and non-data center space. Not even heat will go to waste."
Mr. Scherer reiterates that this expansion, scheduled for completion by the end of 2009, is to accommodate growth anticipated for later this year and into the next. "Until then," he emphasizes, "We have space available for clients to set up and expand their operations immediately."
