Fait will be providing valuable information to international law enforcement officials on the "Safe Trailering" Driver Education Program that U-Haul developed in cooperation with the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA).

The central purpose of the "Safe Trailering" Driver Education Program is to provide basic, practical trailering information and guidelines for beginning drivers and first-time trailer/towing individuals. People who tow a trailer only occasionally will benefit from a review of the information contained in these guidelines.

These guidelines are free, and are adaptable to adult-education programs, college-level courses and for teacher training, as well as for high school driver-education programs. They may be used as provided or modified for state (provincial) departments of education, colleges and universities, local school systems and other organizations which share the leadership responsibility for traffic-safety education.

A copy of the Safe Trailering guidelines can be downloaded from www.uhaul.com at the following link: http://www.uhaul.com/about/publication.ashx?id=20311.

To inquire about ordering additional copies of the free Safe Trailering brochure, please contact Tom Prefling, U-Haul director of Education Services, at Dir_edservices@uhaul.com.
