Utility emphasizes conservation during public campaign
In recognition of this week, California American Water is raising awareness amongst its customers, community and local governments of the fundamental need for safe and reliable drinking water supplies for public health, fire protection, economic development and the overall quality of life we enjoy.
This year, California American Water is focused on promoting water conservation during “Drinking Water Week.”
“Conserving this precious resource remains our number one priority,” said

“We work hard to keep water affordable. In fact our metered customers pay about a penny for every three gallons of water, delivered to their home or business,” Soule said. “By providing a reliable water supply at a reasonable price we will ensure that families and businesses will thrive here as well.”
