ADM Directors Declare Cash Dividend

DECATUR, Ill., May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — The Board of Directors of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today declared a cash dividend of 14 cents per share on the Company’s stock payable June 11, 2009, to Shareholders of record May 21, 2009.

This is ADM’s 310th consecutive quarterly payment, a record of 77 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of March 31, 2009, there were 641,996,471 shares of ADM stock outstanding.
