QinetiQ North America Announces New Executive Vice President for Strategic Development

Dr. J.D. Crouch II to lead federal contractor into next phase of growth

MCLEAN, Va., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading technology innovator QinetiQ North America today announced its new Executive Vice President for Strategic Development.

Dr. J.D. Crouch II will lead the overall strategic development and direction for the company which focuses on mission-critical technology, security service, intelligence, counter-intelligence and systems engineering solutions for the Federal government. He will be based out of QinetiQ North America's McLean, Va., corporate headquarters.

"Having worked at the highest levels of the U.S. government and with foreign governments, J.D. brings to QinetiQ North America broad experience in policy development and implementation," said Duane Andrews, QinetiQ North America's Chief Executive. "As we enter into our next phase of corporate growth, his extensive knowledge of strategy and negotiation, and his ability to promote existing business opportunities will undoubtedly enhance our ability to successfully deliver our world-class products and services to our customers."

Dr. Crouch holds a Ph.D., Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California. He lives with his wife, Kristin, and their two children, Lara and Jake, in McLean, Va., where he is also active in scouting and currently serves as an adult leader to a Venture Crew and as a Boy Scouts of America Assistant Scoutmaster.

Before joining QinetiQ North America, Dr. Crouch held senior level U.S. government positions within the Department of Defense, State Department and the Executive Branch. He still serves on several government advisory boards including the Defense Policy Board. Additionally, for nine years he was Associate Professor of Defense and Strategic Studies at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He has twice been awarded the Department of Defense Distinguished Public Service Medal and in 2006 earned the Alumni Merit Award from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Crouch replaces Dr. Stephen Cambone, who was recently appointed President of QinetiQ North America's Mission Solutions Group based in Fairfax, Va.
