Astec Industries, Inc. To Present at Barrington Research Industrial Conference May 21, 2009

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Astec Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTE) announces today that it will participate in the Barrington Research Industrial Conference in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday, May 21, 2009. Dr. J. Don Brock, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Stephen C. Anderson, Corporate Secretary and Director of Investor Relations will attend the conference.

Astec Industries, Inc. is a manufacturer of specialized equipment for building and restoring the world's infrastructure. Astec's manufacturing operations are divided into four primary business segments: asphalt production equipment, mobile asphalt paving equipment, aggregate processing and mining equipment, and underground boring, directional drilling and trenching equipment.
