Spartan Motors to Attend the Barrington Research Industrial Conference on May 21; Showcasing FRAC Emergency-Rescue Vehicle at Event

CHARLOTTE, Mich., May 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- John Sztykiel, president and CEO of Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAR), will attend the Barrington Research Industrial Conference on Thursday, May 21 at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. At the event, Sztykiel will be presenting the Spartan story to institutional investors in a series of one-on-one meetings.

Spartan will also be displaying a Crimson Fire First Response All Call(TM) (FRAC) vehicle outside the hotel on Wabash St. from 9:00 a.m. CT to 5:30 p.m. CT. The FRAC is a new concept vehicle that incorporates a broad spectrum of firefighting, emergency-rescue and command capabilities into a single, affordable vehicle. Fire departments can select any two of the four currently available modules to create a highly maneuverable vehicle designed to meet the duty requirements of their local communities.
