Pioneer Drilling to Present at the UBS Global Oil & Gas Conference and Deutsche Bank Energy, Utilities & Power Conference

SAN ANTONIO, May 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pioneer Drilling Company, Inc. (NYSE Amex: PDC) today announced that it will participate in the UBS Global Oil & Gas Conference to be held at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas from May 18-21, 2009. Wm. Stacy Locke, President and CEO of Pioneer Drilling, will make a presentation at 9:25 a.m. Central Time on Thursday, May 21. The presentation at the conference is not being webcast, but the presentation materials can be accessed beginning May 21 from the Pioneer Drilling Website at www.pioneerdrlg.com.

Additionally, Pioneer Drilling will participate in the Deutsche Bank Energy, Utilities & Power Conference to be held in Miami, FL on May 27 & 28. Mr. Locke's presentation is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time on May 28. The presentation will be broadcast live over the Internet and the webcast link can be accessed live and for replay by visiting the Company's website.
