"Chairmen Markey and Waxman deserve the highest praise for undertaking the task of crafting this historic legislation. The bill's achievable emissions targets and clean energy and efficiency standards are important steps towards reinvigorating our economy by creating millions of new American jobs and avoiding the worst effects of climate change. We will now look to the full Congress to strengthen and to pass this legislation that will repower America."
