Entergy Corporation President and COO to Participate in Panel at the 2009 Barclays Capital Global Warming Solutions Conference

NEW ORLEANS, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Entergy Corporation (NYSE: ETR) President and Chief Operating Officer Richard Smith plans to participate in a panel discussion Wednesday, June 3 during the 2009 Barclays Capital Global Warming Solutions Conference at the Barclays Capital office in New York City. Smith will participate in a panel discussion on nuclear energy that is expected to start at approximately 11 a.m. EDT. A live webcast will not be available. A replay of the webcast will be available later that day on the Investor Relations section of Entergy's corporate Web site at www.entergy.com. The replay will be available for approximately three months.
