Posted on: Tuesday, 26 May 2009, 12:07 CDT

NEW YORK, May 26 /PRNewswire/ -- AVIATION WEEK, the largest multimedia information and services provider to the global aviation, aerospace and defense (A&D) industries, is among BtoB magazine's "Media Power 50" of best advertising vehicles for business advertisers. The survey included six categories: General News; General Business; Vertical Business Information; Broadcast; Information Technology; and Web Portals, Social Media and Out of Home. AVIATION WEEK is the only A&D media group that BtoB honored under the category of "Vertical Business Information."

BtoB editors interviewed media buyers, advertisers, and industry analysts to get their views on the most influential b-to-b advertising venues and also critically assessed ad revenue content and audience data to determine the Media Power 50 outlets. AVIATION WEEK was recognized for its print ad stability and topic diversification, with outlets that serve the aerospace and defense industries, as well as emerging markets in India, the Middle East, and Asia. Furthermore, its readership continues to increase in both the print and online sectors.

"AVIATION WEEK is honored to be included in this prestigious list as an essential b-to-b information and advertising resource," said Tom Henricks, president of AVIATION WEEK. "As a highly regarded information source for the world's aerospace and defense industries, we are committed to continuing to transform our business to best serve our customers and provide essential information for industry professionals worldwide."
