Dahlman Rose & Co. Expands Global Research Coverage Into Agriculture and Chemicals Sector

Hires Former Morgan Stanley Analyst Charles Neivert

NEW YORK, May 27 /PRNewswire/ — Charles Neivert, formerly of Morgan Stanley, joined leading investment bank Dahlman Rose & Company, LLC, as Managing Director to head the firm’s new Agriculture and Chemicals research division. The appointment of Mr. Neivert extends Dahlman Rose’s specialization in the global commodity energy and supply chain sectors.

Prior to joining Dahlman Rose, Mr. Neivert, 51, was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where he re-launched the firm’s commodity, specialty and fertilizer chemical equity research practice.

Mr. Neivert also co-founded and was President of New Vernon Associates, an equity research boutique specializing in global chemicals that was awarded Institutional Investor‘s “Best of the Boutiques and Regionals – Commodity Chemicals” for nine consecutive years. Among his other duties at New Vernon, Mr. Neivert conducted all fundamental industry research on a global level, including the analysis and forecasting of 50 distinct chemicals.

Mr. Neivert earned his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
