Gran Tierra Energy to present at RBC Capital Markets Global Energy and Power Conference on June 1st, 2009

CALGARY, May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Gran Tierra Energy Inc. (NYSE Amex: GTE, TSX: GTE), a company focused on oil exploration and production in South America, today announced that Dana Coffield, the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, will be presenting at RBC Capital Market's Global Energy and Power Conference at the Ritz Carlton New York, Battery Park, on June 1st, 2009.
