Skywalker 13-foot trampolines recalled

May 29, 2009

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Skywalker 13-foot square trampolines due to a fall hazard.

The straps holding the poles at the top of the trampoline’s safety enclosures can fail, causing the enclosures to fall, increasing risk of injury to a user, the commission said.

About 60,000 trampolines were imported from China by Skywalker Holdings LLC of Brigham City, Utah. They were sold nationwide between January 2007 and February 2009 for between $400 and $600.

Consumers were advised to stop using the trampolines and contact Skywalker Holdings to order a free repair kit.

Consumers can call 866-603-5867 for information.
