Under the terms of the agreement, the AT&T CruiseCast service will immediately include Lifetime, which features a robust slate of programming that spans original movies, dramas, comedies and unscripted series.

Boasting 22 satellite TV networks and 20 satellite radio channels, AT&T CruiseCast service delivers real-time programming to automobiles via its innovative rear-seat entertainment technology. The service surpasses the simple headrest-mounted DVD displays by providing a broad selection of mobile video that, in addition to Lifetime, includes a variety of family, documentary, music, comedy, news, sports and children's programming.

"With AT&T CruiseCast carrying Lifetime Television, automobile passengers who have this groundbreaking service will now be able to watch our top-rated shows and movies while they are on the go," said Lori Conkling, executive vice president, distribution, Lifetime Networks. "Women's household buying power is a key selling point in the automotive industry. This deal perfectly complements our corporate strategy to make Lifetime Television available to our targeted audience across all platforms."

"Delivering the best programs to in-vehicle viewers of all ages is what the AT&T CruiseCast service strives to provide," said Steve Symonds, co-founder and executive vice president of RBC. "The content we have licensed from Lifetime includes some of the most popular programs for women, and we're thrilled to deliver them to our subscribers."

Lifetime Television features programming that celebrates, entertains and supports women. The number one cable network among women in original movies, the Network is home to Army Wives, cable's top-rated drama for women that will launch its third season on June 7; and Project Runway, the highest-rated unscripted competition series that will return to television on August 20. It will be joined by the all-new companion series Models of the Runway, also debuting on August 20. Other original programs on the Network include the new comedic drama Drop Dead Diva, premiering on July 12; the weekly culinary program Cook Yourself Thin; Rita Rocks, Lifetime's first original comedy series in ten years; and the reality program DietTribe. Lifetime Television also boasts a diverse slate of original movies, including Acceptance, starring Joan Cusack; Sorority Wars, featuring Courtney Thorne-Smith; and Georgia O'Keeffe, with Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons.

AT&T CruiseCast service utilizes breakthrough technology that helps to overcome line-of-sight obstacles such as overpasses, buildings, trees or tunnels to deliver television programming to cars, non-commercial trucks and SUVs. This groundbreaking AT&T CruiseCast service was created through the collaboration of RBC and AT&T*, the world's premier telecommunications company. RBC, a privately held U.S. company, is working with the business development group at AT&T to introduce the new product to the marketplace.

The AT&T CruiseCast service is consumer-friendly and does not include cumbersome equipment. The service is transmitted through a small pod-like antenna that affixes to the vehicle roof. The antenna is paired with a receiver, which is installed in the vehicle, providing all video and audio connections to the appropriate vehicle systems, such as rear-seat entertainment, vehicle audio system, etc. Consumers can enjoy Lifetime plus 41 other channels by purchasing the service at a local after-market car accessory retail outlet.
