EDR Taps Jon Walker To Head Commercial Real Estate Services Division

MILFORD, Conn., June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Barber, CEO of Environmental Data Resources, Inc., the nation's leading provider of environmental risk information and services, today announced the appointment of Jon Walker as vice president of the company's Commercial Real Estate Services division. Based at EDR's headquarters in Milford, Connecticut, Walker will oversee the continued expansion of the division, which serves environmental consultants, lenders, corporations, government agencies, attorneys and insurers.

An environmental industry veteran with more than 17 years of sales and management experience, Walker previously served as managing director of EDR's Corporate, Legal and Government Services, where he oversaw the development of new business strategies, products and services to support EDR's business in those markets. Prior to that position, which he held for four years, Walker was associate vice president of EDR's Lender Services. Mr. Walker also served as the co-chair of the ASTM E 1528 Task Group, which published ASTM E 1528-06, Standard Practice for Limited Environmental Due Diligence: Transaction Screen Process.
