NF Energy Saving Corporation Confirms Delivery of $0.75 Million Energy-Efficient Flow Control Systems for Shanghai Huaneng Ultra-Supercritical (USC) Shidongkou No.2 1,320MW Power Plant

SHENYANG, China, June 10 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- NF Energy Saving Corporation of America (OTC Bulletin Board: NFES) ("NF Energy"), a Chinese leader in energy efficient flow control systems, today announced the delivery of $0.75 million of energy-efficient flow control systems for Shanghai Huaneng's USC Shidongkou No.2 plant with design capacity of 2 x 660MW of generation capacity. The flow control systems are expected to be installed in July.

Shanghai Huaneng's USC Shidongkou No.2 plant is one of China's new Ultra-Supercritical coal power plants being built to replace small, dirty and inefficient coal power plants. USC plants are on average 4% more efficient than supercritical units and 6% more efficient than traditional sub-critical units. USC plants' coal usage of 272.9g/kWh is 7-11g/kWh lower than supercritical units and 18g/kWh lower than traditional sub-critical units.

On a recent visit to the plant, Mr. Zhengshen Yu, Party Secretary of Shanghai, said, "This is an important step in restructuring our power production system to systematically close down inefficient and worst polluting units to reduce emissions while guaranteeing power needed for GDP growth."
