Codexis CEO Alan Shaw to Speak at Detroit Economic Club's National Summit

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Codexis, Inc. today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Alan Shaw, Ph.D., will speak on clean technology at the Detroit Economic Club's inaugural National Summit on June 15 in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Shaw will speak in a Technology Town Hall about ways to address key issues and challenges in bringing sustainable clean energy to market. Other panelists will include: Dr. Grace M. Bochenek, Director, U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC), Edward Lu, Program Manager in Advanced Projects, Google; and Joseph Muscat, Partner and Director of the Americas Cleantech Network, Ernst & Young LLP. The session will be moderated by Noam Neusner, Principal, 30 Point Strategies, and will take place on June 15, 12:00-1:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The National Summit, which takes place June 15-17 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center, is being convened by the Detroit Economic Club to bring the country's business leaders together with government officials and academic experts to discuss and advance a revitalized national economic agenda. The event is co-chaired by William Clay Ford Jr., Executive Chairman, Ford Motor Company, and Andrew Liveris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Dow Chemical Company, and will feature 70 CEOs from energy, technology, communications, transportation and other sectors.
