Key Energy Services to Hold Ribbon-Cutting for Minden Facility

New location strategically positioned to serve customers in Haynesville Shale

HOUSTON, June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/Key Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: KEG) announced that ribbon-cutting festivities to celebrate the opening of its new Minden, Louisiana facility will be held June 26, 2009.

The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the new facility, located at 10204 Highway 80 in Minden, and will include a full menu of local fare, prize drawings and onsite demonstrations of Key’s advanced wellsite technology.

“The opening of the Minden facility will be a significant event for Key and its customers in the Haynesville Shale area,” said John A Honeycutt, Senior Director, Central Marketplace. “This location will provide customers in the region with the latest technology and equipment to service wells throughout their entire life cycle for optimized production.”

The Minden facility will serve as home for Coiled Tubing, Pressure Pumping and Wireline services. In addition, the Company has extensive facilities throughout the region that can serve this area. “By adding this facility,” said Honeycutt, “we are demonstrating our commitment to this area and the Haynesville Shale.”
