Crude oil heads toward $72 per barrel

Crude oil prices climbed overnight on the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday, with the price heading toward $72 per barrel.
Crude oil prices gained 34 cents to $71.67 per barrel. Heating oil prices gained 0.0062 cents to $1.8388 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline rose 0.013 cents to $2.0283 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.028 cents to $3.68 per million British thermal units.
At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.632 Thursday, up from Wednesday's $2.627 a gallon, AAA said.
