American Eagle Airlines Launches Nonstop Jet Service Between Brownsville, Texas, and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport

Three Daily Nonstops Connect the Rio Grande Valley with DFW Hub

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, today began nonstop jet service between Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Eagle will operate the three daily flights using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets and 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 jets.

"The southernmost city in Texas is an important gateway and center of trade between Mexico and the United States," said Gary Foss, Vice President - Planning, Marketing and Sales for American Eagle. "Along with the beautiful beaches of South Padre, this makes it a very attractive business and leisure destination."
