Human Pheromone Sciences Exclusive License Agreement for Its Initial Human Pheromone Technology in Taiwan

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Human Pheromone Sciences, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: EROX) (“HPS” or “the Company”) today announced the signing of an exclusive License, Supply and Distribution Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Pheromone International CO., LTD., a Taiwan-based Company (“the Licensee”), an affiliate of David Bernard International, CO., LTD., for the use of the Company’s initial human pheromone technologies in personal care products to be developed and marketed in the Taiwan market. Under the Agreement, the Licensee must meet minimum annual purchase requirements to retain exclusivity in Taiwan for the four year period of the Agreement, and, if it is in compliance with annual minimums, will have the right of first opportunity for additional markets, including the Peoples Republic of China, Singapore and Macao, in all distribution channels, excluding Multi-Level Marketing.

We plan to develop lines of consumer products to be distributed through our own channels, and sublicense the use of the pheromones to other companies with additional methods of distribution. We want to act as the exclusive agent for Human Pheromone Sciences, Inc. in Taiwan and Mainland China because we recognize that they are the only Company that has the scientific proof of the effects of their compounds, and the claims have been validated in leading universities around the world; to establish the Company’s brand image, we will utilize exhibition spaces in major department stores, and the Carrefour Mall, as well as the internet and Electronic Media. We plan to be a pheromone leader in Taiwan and Mainland China, and this agreement is the catalyst,” the Licensee’s spokesperson said.

Major current clients of the Licensee include Sony Ericsson in Taiwanese department stores, fifty-seven retailers in the Carrefour Mall in Taiwan, and several boutique hotels in Taiwan and Mainland China.
