Jacobs Receives Contract From NASA for Aerospace Testing Support at Ames Research Center

In this project, Jacobs serves as the prime contractor, and has teamed with two subcontractors: Sierra Lobo Inc. and Qualis Corporation.
The team will provide support for aerospace testing, and facilities maintenance and operations, including project development, operation of support facilities, and maintenance of aerospace facilities at Ames.
With this win, Jacobs continues their partnership with NASA that currently includes support to Ames Research Center, Glenn Research Center, Johnson Space Center, Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, Stennis Space Center, and White Sands Test Facility.
Jacobs’ work history at Ames Research Center dates back to 1966 when Jacobs began operating the center’s 12-foot wind tunnel. Under a separate joint venture, Jacobs recently reactivated and currently operates NASA Ames’ National Full-Scale Aerodynamic Complex, the world’s largest wind tunnel.
