PetroQuest Energy Announces Public Offering of 10,000,000 Shares of Common Stock

LAFAYETTE, La., June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (NYSE: PQ) announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock. The underwriters for the offering will also have the option to purchase 1,500,000 additional shares of common stock to cover any over-allotments. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including to fund capital expenditures related to its exploration and development drilling program.

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. will act as sole book-running manager for the offering.
