VA Head to Address Ypsilanti Scholars on Detroit Visit

Eric K. Shinseki will address scholarship recipients on June 26 in Ypsilanti. The Captain C. Robert Arvin Foundation was established to encourage young men and women to pursue academic excellence, develop leadership skills, and perform selfless service to the community in the manner exemplified by Captain
Carl Robert Arvin. Arvin, a former Cadet First Captain and Brigade Commander at the U.S. Military Academy, was tragically killed in action on October 8, 1967 in Vietnam.
