More Than Seventy Years of Engineering and Industrial Sales Experience to Lead Sales Force for Magnetic Bearings Industry Leader

Applications of these products are increasing, particularly across industrial, aerospace and defense sectors as traditional oil-lubricated bearings and drive trains are replaced with clean, frictionless magnetic bearings products and direct-drive high-speed drive trains. To maximize its strong value proposition, Synchrony has hired a team with a collective seventy years of professional engineering and sales leadership in turbomachinery, industrial pumps and large power applications to spearhead sales for the advanced products company. Among Synchrony’s new sales hires is Dennis Mueller, a 34-year veteran specializing in motor and automation sales. In his most recent position as Vice President of Sales at Power & Controls Automation, he grew sales 20% per year. Prior to that, he climbed the sales management ladder at both Siemens Energy & Automation and Reliance Electric. Mueller will focus on sales for Synchrony’s Fusion(R) magnetic bearings for NEMA size motors, industrial pumps, blowers and air compressors.

Omar Jimenez has 10 years of sales experience in turbomachinery for the oil & gas industry. His focus with GE Oil & Gas was in retrofit applications for end-users. He developed opportunities for non-OEM engineered solutions for turbomachinery for clients such as ConocoPhillips, Valero, ExxonMobil, Spectra Energy, and Placid Refining. At Synchrony, Omar’s sales focus will be on downstream applications that are currently using traditional oil bearings.

John Rama is a registered Professional Engineer and award winning sales manager with 28 years of experience applying and selling large low-voltage and medium-voltage motors and VFDs to the oil & gas and water/wastewater markets. As sales manager at Siemens/Robicon – Midwest he was responsible for growing sales, profitability and channel management for a $36MM/yr sales volume. Rama has presented articles to the Turbomachinery Symposium and is a member of the API and IEEE Standards Committees. Rama will focus on the integration of NovaGlide(TM) magnetic bearings into large rotating machinery.
