Leading Provider of Engineering and Geospatial Software will Now Offer Augusta Systems EdgeFrontier Middleware
Through the reseller agreement, Intergraph will offer EdgeFrontier’s remotely configurable middleware to promote simplified integration for devices and systems to further extend the reach of Intergraph security software platforms. EdgeFrontier supports integration and normalization of data, events and control functions from diverse devices, systems and networks, regardless of manufacturer or communications protocol. These include sensors, wireless sensor networks, RFID systems, video devices and systems, access control systems, metering and measurement devices, actuators, databases and file repositories and others. In addition, the products provide structures for event processing and configuration of event or policy-based actions through a policy engine.
EdgeFrontier resides on routers, servers and other computing systems, providing a complete middleware platform for building and managing complex monitoring, control and automation solutions.
EdgeFrontier will also provide support for remote, localized event or policy-based processing of data and events to push intelligence beyond the data center throughout the network infrastructure. These capabilities eliminate the need for custom interface development and allow for enhanced information management.
